January 3, 2021

Today is great because today is the day that you get to decide how to live the rest of your life…

But what is so special about today?

Nothing at all, but in no thing is everything…

It’s a day like any other.

There is no holiday that I am aware of on this day, January 3rd, but there are endless reasons to celebrate its existence.

Today is the day we woke up again for the first time. Fresh from the dream world where anything is possible, we awaken into some level of conscious awareness… gifted with one more opportunity to take our time appreciating the creation around us in its eternal beauty.

But, I know there is no time…

How could I not know when people say it all the time?

It’s funny how soon humans forget, but I know they’ll see it again eventually… just as soon as they have a moment to reflect in the awareness of their own timeless existence.

Perhaps then they’ll stop spending most of the time they don’t have to do the things they don’t really want to do?

I guess only time will tell…

I can certainly see how people often become lost in the maze of shadows they see. In their busy mind, they forgot the reality which exists beyond their perception… beyond the darkness and confusion they see in the world.

But why do these curious humans forget that no shadow can exist without a source of light?

I know how the pragmatic mind will argue the reality of the darkness they see. They might say there is no light in a moonless sky apart from the stars, or that no light can be found in a dark windowless room, but to them I have this to say:

Whenever one becomes aware of darkness, let it prove beyond all reason that within them is light.

You are the light which sees the darkness in the windowless room, creating its reality through your great power of observation. You are one of many stars shining your light of awareness into the universe.

Awareness itself is light.

It is the light of awareness which manifests our reality, but who is there to remain fully aware of an infinite creation that expands endlessly beyond our perception?

I know there is you and I, and because we exist I know there is an awareness which exists us by its observation. This great awareness observes beyond you or I, but it also observes the entire universe through our own eyes and through our mind.

Who are we but us?

…a people separated by time and space, yet united through our awareness of love and compassion.

So what is real, the separation or the unity?

You know the answer somewhere deep in your soul. No other human can fully answer it for you, but to be brief in my attempt, the answer is both.

The fundamental nature of reality is beyond this or that. Everything is… just as it always was, yet infinitely changing.

Everything has its cycle, and there is a point at which duality dies, but death is not the end. Death is but one more transition in the perspective of our awareness.

That which is beyond all time, space and knowing can never not be. You are part of that and more, but dark illusions would have you believe that you are something less than magic.

You are as I am, and here we are… existing regardless of what we know or think we don’t.

Here we are, so now what?

Let’s take a breath from trying to know everything and just breathe…

It’s always here for you when you need it most.

Today is a special day because unlike all the other days, the light of our awareness has not yet set.

I ❤ today

A day like any other where we continue to create our reality.

“It is the obvious which is so difficult to see most of the time. People say ‘It’s as plain as the nose on your face.’ But how much of the nose on your face can you see, unless someone holds a mirror up to you?”

It's An Enigma

Yes, I'm literally writing a book.

It's a mystery wrapped in a riddle, but I'm writing it with the finesse of a silkworm in a spider's web. Join my newsletter for updates.
