What a world it would be if more people put as much effort into their own mental health, physical wellness, spiritual growth, and compassion for others as they do in electing “representatives” outside themselves to say things that appeal to the flavor of their ego.

There is no leader who can bring peace into your perception of reality other than you. There is no one better to bring joy into your friends’ and families’ lives than you. There is no one more able to do good work in your community than you. There is no solution to any perceived problem in your life that doesn’t involve you.

Until one takes complete ownership of their own conscious existence and the path they choose to walk through this life, one is not truly free.

As long as people continue to believe that the fate of humanity rests with some person or group outside themselves, the lost will remain as wanderers who turn over every stone searching for that which hides deep within their soul.

It is the very essence of conscious awareness which gifts us the ability to reflect, connecting all of humanity at the most fundamental level, and when we truly know it like we know an old friend, it guides us into alignment with divine will…

If you still have trouble finding it, I can point you in the right direction, but only you can discover it for yourself.

All that you seek may be found hiding in an energy at the intersection of gratitude and compassion.

Go to that still place and spend some time there with yourself, as you would sitting alone at the edge of a mountain lake, soaking in the natural beauty of all that is around and within you.

The path to compassion and gratitude may be difficult to find, but the journey is the initiation which unlocks the gates of heaven.
