Can’t you see this is the land of confusion?

The world is in the midst of some massive shifts right now, and I doubt I’ll encounter many people who will argue against this reality. From global shutdowns, to collapsing financial systems, civil unrest, and emotions running high, it’s easy to look out at the world and see a downward spiral… much of it spun into a web of confusion and anxiety by the corrupt media and political hacks. They sell fear porn with shocking headlines and opinionated statements of outrage to create emotionally charged reactions that serve the same old divide and conquer strategies which have been used by oppressors to control populations throughout the world for ages.

Popular culture has been carefully manufactured into a virtue signaling heap of Debbie Downers (no offense to the Debbie Doers out there) who perpetuate a helpless victim narrative onto a population asleep at the wheel. People are unconsciously signing up to be angry, depressed, and outraged at every moment of their waking lives. We are experiencing some pretty severe side effects of a society that bought the “there’s a pill for everything” lie… hook, line, and sinker.

I encourage anyone who finds themselves constantly living in a state of outrage to honestly ask themselves some hard questions.

Go stand in front of your bathroom mirror and ask yourself when the last time it was that you were truly happy, and then examine your daily habits and rituals. If they consists of watching the news to “stay informed” or being involved in social media politics, I’d invite you to ask another question… Is that the best thing you can do for yourself? Is it serving your highest purpose to sit around yelling at other people you disagree with through a computer screen? Do you honestly see a future where your actions lead to peace and prosperity? Are you actually doing anything constructive, or just engaging in mass hysteria at the command of your telescreen god? Are you being kind to yourself, your community, and humanity?

Wake up. Stop sleeping. Stop falling for it. Stop buying into the illusion. Stop selling yourself excuses only to drink yourself into a state of forgetting and pill popping to suppress the pain of living in a glass prison. It’s time to feel it. Make it real and deal with it. Then let’s fix this. We can not continue acting like a nation of petulant children and expect to survive this unscathed.

What world do you want to leave for future generations?

What is your legacy going to be? You have free will. You have the freedom to choose to take actions that will help others, or sacrifice them for your own personal gratification. I see many people acting in ignorance, ignoring what they know to be right. You know what’s right in your heart, and if you don’t feel any connection there then maybe it’s time to take a pause and reflect on the meaning of life, isolated away from media mind manipulation. Whatever you choose, stop selling yourself bullshit and pretending that acting like a bunch of spoiled brats burning down communities is going to solve anything.

People are so focused on “fighting against” they’ve lost sight of what is worth fighting for. Pushing conflict will get a reaction of conflict, and if that’s truly what you want, then you need to take an honest look at yourself in the mirror. Stare into your own eyes if you have the courage to do so and tell yourself that living in anger, and hatred is the best thing you can do for yourself and humanity. Maybe you have children, and if so, try looking into their eyes and telling yourself that the best thing you can do for them is to fight incessantly, sacrificing their peace for your perverted sense of self-gratification. Nobody will be there to judge you but yourself, and you may not like what you see, but at least you might become lucid enough to wake up and start making positive, constructive changes. Changes that will truly improve your life and those around you.

Here’s one that’s going to hit hard for some… but maybe you have some friends or family who have passed (I know I do)… do you think it honors them to be living in a constant state of rage and conflict? Can you close your eyes and visualize them rooting for this, or do you think they’d be filled with joy to see you happy and smiling? The switch is in your own mind. It is the perspective you choose to take of the world. Live with purpose and live with the love they shared with you. They are not gone. Let’s not forget to honor our fallen friends and family by exemplifying what it means to have honor, and to display the courage to do what is right and good… especially when pressure is applied by lost peers, and public shaming attempted by manipulated pawns.

Find the courage to be the light, and dissolve the shadows which desire to suck you into a long night.

If you want to live in a better world, then it is you who must first change yourself for the better.

Divided we fall and so many people are being played like dominos. Thinking that your next act of personal gratification and spinning up into cathartic fits of rage is actually a solution to anything beyond feeding your ego its next fix of outrage is a grand delusion.

And for the angry patriots who see the world with tired eyes and want to fight rage with rage, realize where that leads. I’m going to assume you’re a rational person who has some kind of value for life and maybe even the human spirit. I challenge you to see the system for what it is… sick, and in need of healing. Realize that you too are being manipulated to play your role in the divide and conquer game. It is the truly virtuous who can remove themselves from emotional reaction and act with benevolence, like a loving parent who must assist a sick child that doesn’t want to listen. Do you abandon the child because things are difficult? Do you wage war on the child, or do you love your child because you recognize that they need to be healed? I realize that not everyone had stellar childhoods either, but that is no excuse to perpetuate bullshit onto yet another generation to continue the negative patterns of behavior… we must shift the momentum.

When will we learn that it is this division of The People which keeps the corrupt in power?

When will enough be enough? How long will it take the “two sides” to realize that they are being played against each other by a third party who isn’t even on the field? This third party is a group of people who are socially and economically isolated from the wars being fought by the poor and middle class. They benefit from the chaos while communities are destroyed and generations are kept in chains of debt.

I can see why a steady consumer of toxic TV programming would find it difficult to believe that there is a large population of rational people with good intentions existing in the world, but believe me I know many of them. Look around and you might start seeing them too. Maybe you’ll see one staring back at you in the mirror, and I hope you do.

We must hold ourselves accountable for our own actions. We must reality check our friends and family and help guide them away from self-destructive patterns of behavior. I’m not going to sugar coat it and tell you that it will be easy, but I will guarantee you that it will be worth it.

Politicians are not our leaders. Celebrities are not our leaders. We The People are the leaders, so let’s start acting like it…

We need to stop looking for leaders outside ourselves and our communities. Stand up and become a leader… a true leader. Be someone who listens to others and seeks to mend broken relationships even if you know the other person is wrong. The first step is listening to them speak and acknowledging them as a person. The next step is speaking to them with compassion as if they were your own brother or sister led astray. Let’s focus on building each other up first. We can agree to disagree on many things as long as we maintain mutual respect for one another.

The only way to win against an onslaught of divide and conquer manufactured bullshit is to see through the veil and find ways to be united… it can be small steps… we’re all humans, we want to be respected…

You know the easiest way to show someone respect that takes very little effort?

Listen to them…. shouting each other down is counterproductive. you poke my ego, I’ll poke yours… its a never ending cycle. Recognize the ego’s tricks and stop playing its games.

If you want to change the world, start small.

Focus on improving yourself first, then your friends, your family, your community, and see where that road leads you. See what happens when you start making extra effort to do good work, especially in the presence of people who aren’t reciprocating. Trust me, I know that it’s easier said than done, but the payoff will be exponential for both yourself and the world you see around you.

We need more integrity, more humility, and we need to dig deep and find more compassion, especially for those who are going through their trials. We’ve all gone through our dark valleys and pits of despair, but do not lose sight of the fact that the sun will rise again tomorrow and shine its light on the path which will lead you to the peak, but it is you who must choose to climb higher. You must do the work. Nobody else can do it for you… one foot in front of the other, let’s go!

I’m tired…

Tired of the excuses, the whining, and the negativity. I’m tired of people falsely believing that everything’s so negative and the world is doomed. But despite being tired, I will use my energy to make the world a better place one interaction at a time. It won’t be perfect but nothing ever is. I won’t be perfect, but I don’t need to be, and neither do you. It is our intentions which fuel our actions and that is what matters.

What we need is momentum to push each other in a positive direction. I vow to work to help as many people as possible to see that we are living in the greatest time with the greatest opportunities to do good things for our communities, for the world, and for ourselves. I help you, you help me, we help each other. That’s how this works. These things aren’t mutually exclusive, but there is imbalance. People have strayed off course… they’ve been misguided… they’ve become lost… so let’s guide them back on course. Let’s show the world how to live from the heart. Let’s help each other shift our awareness from the headspace of the ego into heart centered awareness.

What is your intention? You’ve just read mine. What do you want to see in the world? How can we improve? Let’s see some positive intentions and get some momentum going.
